Jeannie Deva (formerly Lieberman) recently published her third book, Singer's Guide to Powerful Performances, using e-Book technology. Rick Smith of Concord, CA, built a project studio called Liberty Hill Studios and will release new music in 2013. 1968 Roger Aldridge of Olney, MD, had his guitar piece "Donut Music" recorded on the CD All We Know Is Now by Keith Calmes. 1971 Gabriel Heiser (aka Gabe Hizer) of Antioch, TN, started a new band called Zen Poets. Visit www.zenpoets.com. 1973 BJ Snowden of Billerica, MA, had her song "In Canada" performed by the Suspects for the soundtrack of the film The Misadventures of the Dunderheads, which aired on the Starz channel in November. Paul Hoelen and Mandarine Montgomery Alum Notes Compiled by Ryan Fleming '03 Claire Daly '80 Bob Sinicrope of Milton, MA, is the president-elect of the Jazz Education Network. He is in his 40th year at Milton Academy. 1979 Jon Catler of New York City, released the album Footsteps with the Fretless Brothers. Drummer Pascoal Meirelles of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, released his 11th solo album Dubai-Lima Guitar Project. 1980 Saxophonist Claire Daly of New York City released the CD Baritone Monk with support from the North Coast Brewing Co. All proceeds will benefit the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz. Daly has also been touring with her quartet and keeping a busy teaching schedule.
